The Mayor of Clare, John Crowe and the Ambassador of Norway Roald Naess launched the new WTSE Viewing & Information Point at Mountshannon Harbour on Friday the 4th of July.

The temporary building has been specially designed by Clare County Council and is located at Mountshannon harbour and will be operated by volunteers from Mountshannon Eagle Group, Mountshannon Community Council and the Golden Eagle Trust. The new viewing point features telescopes and information and displays about the White Tailed Sea Eagles. The building is a great focus to the viewing of the eagles and a wonderful asset to the community.The facility be opened at the weekend and at other times during the week and will remain at the harbour until the end of September.
